Crazy Times......And Phone Pics

Let me try to catch up in pictures if I may.
So we sold our house.  Or, at least, it's under contract for now.   We just stuck a 4 sale sign in our yard 4 weeks ago.  Within a week, we had more than one verbal offer.  We've had a lot of interest, which has been great, but it's always hard to see something you're so attached to slip away from you.  I'm pretty sad about it, but I also recognize it's what I signed up for.  Not an easy process though.

Allow me to post these pictures for my journal.  I want to remember so much about this house:

My entryway:

Where the magic happens!  Ha Ha JK.

Master bath:

The office that I just started decorating.  Of course!  As soon as I get it to where I want it, we'll be packing up.  It wasn't there yet, but we were on the right road I think:

Kya's room, which is was next on my projects list to update.

Miss Breezy's room:

Taylee Jane's room:

Anyway, dealing with the house has been just a portion of my happenings lately.  One of the more heartbreaking experiences for me was losing one of my lifetime best friends.  Amber Bellows, who I grew up with and remained pretty close to, died in a tragic BASE jumping accident on Feb 8th.  I'll never forget the sick feeling in my gut when Randy (who is still best friends with Amber's little brother Zack) gave me the news.  She'd only been married 2 weeks.  I was just about to mail her wedding gift (a blow dryer, it was our own personal joke and also what she gave me for my wedding).  I have so many wonderful memories of Amber, and they all include that infectious laugh that I will miss more than I can say. I have videos of silly dances we made up (like the entire Three Amigos dance) and pictures of us in various costumes. I have journal entries of some of the hilarious things we did. We thought they were hilarious anyway!  Man I'm going to miss her.  She was truly one of the greats and will always hold a place in the highlights of my life.

Back in the day.  Don't ask me what I was doing with my hair!  Amber is in the bottom left:

The funeral service was perfect.  I felt honored to be asked to say the opening prayer, yet up to this point it's the hardest prayer I've ever had to give. While I believe no words will ever do her justice, her family and friends represented her well. It made me want to be more like her. I want to be brave and friendly and always happy. She makes me want to be better. So Cheers & Blue skies to my beautiful friend!

The girls in my YW group all made it to the funeral.  Sad reason for a reunion, but great to see them all.  We decided to do a picture just for Amber.  This is what she would have done.  In fact, she would have been front and center!

Danielle Wiker, Jennifer Adamson, Lindsey Jensen, me, Angela Bates, Heather Denison:

She would have loved the sparkly pink sendoff:

Anywho, there have also been plenty of happy times:

Or at least mostly happy!  Poor Kya has a funny habit of only standing up or squatting in the tub.  Sitting down, or heaven forbid lying down, sends her to tears.

I am the new Wolf Cub Scout leader in my ward, along with the RS Enrichment night leader.  Thankfully, I was just released from nursery because I really had my hands full for a while there.  The boys are fun though.  Hopefully I'll learn quickly what it is that 8 year old boys like because I am so out of the loop!

Today, I really wanted to do something fun with the girls.  While I don't have a crafty bone in my body, I think we accomplished the fun goal!  We made dresses out of construction paper.  They loved it!

So, seeing as how I've been completely slacking on the blog the last 3 months, here are a bunch of pictures taken from my phone from probably the last 9 months or so :)
Carousel ride:

Jungle Jim's with cousins Cayson and Dylan:

My gals seriously LOVE preschool!

That Taylee is always up to mischief.  Gum in the hair = peanut butter bath.

Parachute fun:

She's just so darn cute though:

We've been on many looooong car rides:

Taylee is really good at putting lipstick on!

We love when Aunt Nelly comes to play:

Cousin Jackson with the gals at the park:

Granny Bev has painted a picture of the Temple that each of her Grandchildren were married in.  It's displayed proudly in my room:

No words needed:

Master winker:

I feel so blessed that I've been able to have quite a bit of quality time with Grandpa Jack, who I think the World of!

Tay bug was caught eating a spoonful of Ranch:

Playing airplane on the tramp:

Eating ice cream at 9:30 AM  because the storyline in their game of house called for it:

Of course we had to get nails done before our vacation to Cali back in Oct of last year:

Sacred rays at the Beach:

Best place on Earth with my favorite people.  I LOVE the Beach!

So Sweet:

This little fox got massively stuck probably in her preparations for Trick or treating.

I just think they're beautiful!

I'm hungry:

Wasting time, pulling faces, and laughing our butts off!

Every time we go for a ride, the girls squeal over bumps.  They throw their hands in the air, and just giggle.  I could truly learn an important lesson from them.

Taylee Jane:

Miss B is all girl:

Prime Rib sandwiches are good:

Dress up time is.....well, ALWAYS!:

If we're home, we're craving treats:

Or throwing fits because we don't get seconds on said treats:

Make up with friends:

More Dress Ups:

We went to the circus, that was lots of fun!

We like treats:

Taylee touched the chicken!

I love these people:

We love holidays that involve lots of candy:

We also love Grandpa:

And his magic tricks.  I used to LOVE those when I was little:

I made it through organizing my first Super Saturday (this was before it started, eventually every seat filled up - yay!).  It was a huge deal for this non crafty gal.

Dancing.  Have I mentioned how much I love them!?

Hard at work:

I love every little habit my children have and hope to never forget those little quirks:

Kya is growing up before my very eyes..  Piggy tails prove it:

Sometimes the gals at my office and I get a hankerin at 10AM.  This is what we do.

I used to LOVE this toy when I was a little girl.  I'm so glad Grandpa Jack still has one, because the girls share my sentiment:

Kya didn't leave Grandpa's side the entire time he was holding these cookies:

Karaoke night is pretty common in our home, and if I'm being honest it's mostly the song, "Let It Go" from Frozen:

I'm not kidding you, almost every day for the last month Brielle storms into the house screaming, "Mom, Taylee is stuck on the monkey bars again."  That girl has dreams, I tell you.  One of these days we will follow those dreams through to fruition!

Trav and I had some serious bike racing competitions  (cough, I won, cough cough):

I can't stand how cute Taylee was as she was mimicking her Daddy shooting his bow:

Speaking of shooting....

AND, last but not least Taylee's black eye.  She's had more black eyes then everyone in my family combined!  This girl is one rambunctious, accident prone child!  She got this wrestling with Brielle.  No matter how much I'm stressing or what happens to be keeping me up at night, I love these not so quiet, crazy little people that belong to me....messy faces and all!
