More Nana Please!

That's probably a phrase I hear more than any other: "More Nana Please". Well actually she says "More Nana" then signs please. She can't get enough bananas. Any time I ask her what she wants to eat she replies with "Nana" while simultaneously signing it with her cute little fingers.

Anticipating the banana:

Enjoying every bite!

And how can I possibly say no when she looks at me like this?!

And stuffs her face like this:

The problem with bananas is that this sweet little girl wants to eat it all by herself. She takes gigantic bites. I mean really! When I tell her to slow down and take smaller bites, she looks at me like this:

And this: (And trust me, I was unable to get her true scowl, they are much scarier than what I was able to capture! She truly glares at me every time I give her this one little instruction.)

In other news:
We went up north for Cayson's baby blessing (My brother Ryan's baby).

Brielle is getting so big. She's obviously very excited to see her cousin. Man I love her!

She LOVES to play with the doggies.

And she loves to give Cayson kisses. She's enthralled with any and all babies. In fact she always comes up to my belly to give her sister kisses without being asked.

Our TRICKY girl!

She's certainly getting better and better at undressing herself. She's so proud too!

But then she gets distracted and moves on without finishing the job.

Her favorite new thing:

Acrobatics!

She starts out by piling her gigantic chick and other stuffed animals / pillows on the floor. Then she starts to twirl. She always giggles when she's twirling too.

She then catapults herself into the air. Seriously though. . . sometimes she gets major air! And sometimes she misses her target!

But she always comes out with a HUGE grin! We absolutely get a kick out of watching her!

Another trick up Brielle's sleeve involves her tongue. She has this blender that you put shapes into the matching hole. It's one of her favorites. She loves to put the shapes in halfway, and then find different ways to make the shape fall all the way into the blender. For example, she starts to put one in, then will get her baby doll and use her dolls finger to drop it in the rest of the way. She then congratulates her baby on a job well done. She is most proud however, when her tongue finishes the job!

Warning: The Word "Pee" is Used!

This cute girl and I had a bit of a rough morning. When I went in to get her from her crib, the first thing I noticed after seeing her great big smile was her pajama pants and diaper on the ground. Somehow, she's learned how to take off her pants and diaper because this is not the first time this has happened. These weren't easy off loose pants either, but the regular tight fitting jammie pants. I have no idea how she managed to get out of them.. . . . or when for that matter. It could have been in the middle of the night for all I know. Anyway, after further inspection, I found pee streaks ending with little drops all over her crib slats, a puddle on her sheets, blanket, and even the floor. Apparently she had projectile pee. It took all morning to clean up her room. She, of course, was delighted after all that fresh air! I couldn't be mad of course, but I wasn't thrilled either so I had to throw on my fake smile for her much like this one:

But I think she's just too dang cute to not end up with a genuinely true smile!

I love her!!

Welcome Spring!

I must admit, I'm heartbroken that the Olympics are over. We've thoroughly enjoyed watching so many athletes amaze us with their abilities . However, to me, the end of the winter Olympics means that spring is almost here! I couldn't be more thrilled!! Brielle and I spent the day basking in the sunlight. Or to be a little bit more honest, I spent the day chasing Breezy ALL OVER the yard, just trying to keep her out of the streets. She loves to be outside (she's always signing "Outside Please") and she's pretty hard to keep under wraps because she wants to explore everything. We had so much fun playing on the grass, talking about everything we saw, going for multiple walks and roaming the neighborhood coatless. What a great day!

She always points to something random and tells me a very enthusiastic story in baby talk about whatever it is going on in that active mind of hers. I love it when she does this. Man I sure think she's fun!

Truly, she was running as fast as she could to as many different places as she could. It made taking any good pictures pretty impossible. She stopped for nothing:

Grandma and Grandpa Kyhl came for a quick little visit and couldn't hold her interest for long either. Just too much to see and do outside!

Nothing beats a cute little babbling explorer and lovely weather!
