I wake up at 7:30AM, and head down the hall to feed Taylee. This is when Brielle participates in her morning ritual. Every day without fail she slides this little carrot underneath the door, I guess just to let me know that she's up and ready to come out and play. It's ALWAYS the carrot. I've been wanting to get a picture of this for a while now because it's something I want to remember, and it really just cracks me up. She has to wait until she hears me coming (her room is right next to Taylee's), and as soon as I'm close enough that she can see my feet from underneath her door, she makes her move. Out pops the carrot. What a silly girl!
Taylee's morning ritual involves squealing, squirming, and a lot of smiling!
This is Trav's Christmas present. In all the years we've been together, Travis has never once actually opened his Christmas present on Christmas. He has to have everything months early. Mostly because he always wants more hunting crap stuff, so he has to pick it out. Pretty lame for me, but I guess he's excited about it.
For our date last week, Travis and I had a shooting competition. It was really fun! I got to choose the gun, and Trav got to draw the target and name the prize. I've won one of our competitions before with a pistol, so that's why I chose it (Trav is way better than I am at every other gun), but I also haven't been shooting in a couple years. It was a pretty intense event. Travis won, but just barely. He's really good! It's always fun to get out and do what we used to do all the time pre-child. We also went to the movies after that so I'd say the date was a success.
Then we took our kids to the park. Travis thinks I don't actually go to the park for the kids though!
Brielle always looks so awkward on this type of swing if there's not another kid in there with her. So "graceful". . . . yet still pretty cute!
My husband had his first "robin hood". He was pretty excited other than the fact that it ruined a very new and nice arrow. Split the 1st arrow right in half actually. Pretty cool though because it's so rare.
Life is good. . . . . . . . Most of the time anyway!
