Dancing in the Rain

What could be better than dancing in the rain with this little girl?

Brielle knows to plug her nose in the tub when the water's hitting her head, so why not in the rain too?! I guess it makes sense!

The rain clouds made our golf trip absolutely stunning!
Brielle loves to cheer for her daddy when he golfs.  She even sets him up when he's getting ready to hit the ball by saying, "Ready, Set, Go!"  It usually ends up coming out, "Set, Set, Set, Set, GO!"

We certainly have fun all riding in the golf cart together.

We had so much fun, we decided to do it again a few days later.

She's even starting to practice her golf pose.

Brielle is so fun to have around, and also very exhausting for her very pregnant mommy!

She's getting so big and continues to learn something new everyday.  Her memory amazes me!  She's also getting better and better at putting on her own shoes.  I'm not sure how this is comfortable for her but she didn't seem to mind!

Story timeSo There I Was:
Yesterday at work (I'm a dental assistant), I was polishing a little boys teeth.  I have to lean over my patients faces pretty far to get good access to their teeth without bumping them with my giant belly.  I wasn't even touching this little boy, when all of the sudden this little girl inside of me decided to do a gymnastics routine.  Anyway, she kicked so hard that she knocked right into the side of this poor little boys head!  Whoops.  This belly of mine can be pretty dangerous I guess.
It wasn't near as bad as the time I accidentally pulled off my patients wig.  That wasn't pleasant for me, especially when her husband jumped to her rescue saying I needed to be careful with her wig (loud enough for everyone to hear).  The worst part was trying to place it back on her head correctly.  I didn't do the best job.  I tried, but she walked out of the operatory with lopsided hair. Yay for good times at work!

Quick Trip to the Zoo

So we decided to make a last minute trip to the Zoo on Friday.  I LOVE that place!  Apparently so does Brielle.  It was so fun to listen to her make all of the animal sounds she knows.

She kept motioning for the monkeys to come closer to her.  She makes the cutest little monkey calls!

But apparently they weren't as impressed as I was.

It was fun to see some of the animals actually playing around.  Brielle was fascinated by the elephants splashing in the water.  She just wanted to join them!

Poor thing kept getting so annoyed that we kept turning her away from the animals to take her picture.  I certainly don't blame her but I really wanted some fun pictures.  I think it kind of backfired on me!

She quite enjoyed the bird show. She loved watching the birds fly so close to her.

Here she is saying "hi" and waving to the peacock:

She's not one to hold still, so any picture is a challenge. . . .

Especially when she's so enthralled with something like a gorilla nipple!  We tried and tried to get her to look at the camera for just 2 seconds but this thing was pretty fascinating I guess!

Finally.  This was the best we could do!
She said, "Buh-bye" to every animal as we walked away.
Anyway, we had to cut the trip short because people were starting to stare.  I looked like I had an allergic reaction to a bee sting or something.  I was SO SWOLLEN.  I had softball sized ankles.  Dang water retention. Oh well, the Zoo was fun while it lasted!

Breezy loves finding treasures in my bathroom.  She has a special place in her heart for shower caps and any toothbrush she can find.

She'd probably wear the shower cap all day if I'd let her!

Saturday night, Breezy slept in her BIG GIRL ROOM!  I was kind of nervous and figured I'd have a long night of putting her back in bed over and over, but she did AWESOME!!!  She seemed reallly excited to sleep in her new bed.  She fussed for a couple seconds when we closed her door, but then she just talked to herself for a while before she slept the entire night!  She woke up at 7:30ish AM, which is a half hour earlier than normal, but she just played quietly in her bed with some toys until I came in to get her.  I couldn't have been happier with my big girl!  When I went in I found her golf clubs in bed with her and a couple other small toys.  I didn't mind at all because she was at least in bed!
This is what I found this morning.  What a sweetheart:

My little brother came for a visit this weekend too which was fantastic because he's such a funny kid and Brielle absolutely LOVES him!!

She giggled a TON while he was here.  She loves it when he chases her!

Thanks for coming Randy. We always enjoy having you here, especially when you help me distract Brielle during Sacrament meeting.  She simply has too much energy!

Longest Post EVER

So the reason I decided to make the longest post ever is simple.  I'm not a scrapbooker of any kind.  I'm not even good at creating simple photo albums.  Not sure why.  Especially because I LOVE looking through pictures so much.  On May 26th, Travis and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary (if you can call going to Wingers for a total of 30 min celebrating).  Anyway, five years is a long time, and memories fade.  So, I wanted to create our story in pictures.  For my sake really.  So here it is.
Five years worth of crazy adventures!
We were engaged in Feb 05'.  Best day ever!
It's crazy to think we were married before the time when it was popular for photographers to give you a CD of images.  All I have is a photo album.  Someday I'll scan my wedding pictures in.  Man that makes me feel old.  Really old.
We've definitely been on some pretty awesome trips.  Like when we went to Guaymas, Mexico to build houses.  This was when we were engaged.  It was AWESOME!

I learned a Ton (Travis already knew everything) and we got to meet some great people and hilarious kids!

Travis and I enjoy all sorts of things together.  Like Shooting. . .

4 wheeling. . .

Wrestling. . . .

And exploring the outdoors.  Man I totally sound like a redneck huh?

We've seen some breathtaking places. . .

And hiked some incredible cliffs. . .

Travis is so good at making me laugh, and is even better at embarrassing me.  He totally tried to catch me in the middle of taking a leak.  I had hiked a ways away too, the jerk!

We spent our honeymoon in Paradise. Literally. . . It was called Paradise Village in Puerto Vallarta.  It was incredible!!

We enjoyed para-sailing. . .

Kayaking. . .

Boogie Boarding (one of our all time favorite hobbies). . .

And even had some entertainment on a Pirate Ship!  Travis was hilarious!

We loved snorkeling (even though it was jellyfish season, between the two of us we were stung 9 times!)

And really enjoyed our pink dolphins!

It was all super fun :)

We've had some pretty amazing travels.  Including Cour D'Alene, Idaho. . .

And New York City where we were able to enjoy a Yankees Game. . .

Mama Mia on Broadway. . ..

Eat delicious food like this. . .

Visit some great Museums. . . .

And of course eat at the Seinfeld Restaurant.

We definitely loved our many walks through Central Park.

We were lucky enough to go on a cruise with my family (although I had the flu the entire time),

And had fun going to Disneyland with Trav's fam.

We've been on some really spectacular rides. . .

And have met some incredible friends.

I've never laughed harder than on some of those fabulous camping trips. . .
Some of my favorites have been our Canyoneering trips.

Rappelling is incredible by itself!

I love Backpacking with Travis.  He's so patient and makes it so fun!

When I first told Travis I would never live in Richfield, I didn't know about all of the beautiful 4-wheeling trails that I've grown to love so much.
Rappelling down this waterfall was absolutely incredible!

I've absolutely LOVED our midnight 4-wheeling adventures and hikes!

I may have woken up like this one too many times. . .

But it's still so worth it!

I've come to really enjoy fishing.  Especially on a float tube.

But Travis is still the pro!

I think I'm catching up though!

However, I'm not sure if I'll ever grow to love ice fishing.  Too cold and too early for me!

We've sure seen some amazing sunrises and sunsets!

We've been owners of two labs, several puppies. . . .

And a horse which we eventually sold.

We've definitely spent a fair amount of time in hospitals (I take that back on the we part.  It's been all me!)

And welcomed an absolutely beautiful little girl into our family.

And we are SO close to welcoming our second girl!  I'm so lucky to have gotten to share these last 6 years (including dating time) with such an amazing husband.  I love you Travis!!  Thanks for everything.
Together we have:
.....Moved 7 times
.....Built 1 house
.....Fought 1,876 times
.....Made up 1,876 times
.....Said "I Love You" more than 12,323 times
.....Laughed more than 978,698,564 times together
.....Cried a handful of times together
.....Held 9 different jobs
.....Gained 85 lbs
.....Lost not near that many lbs!
.....And spoke in Sacrament Meeting 17 times

I'm looking forward to finding out what the next 5 years holds for us.  All I know is that with Travis, it'll definitely be interesting and hilarious!
