Kyhls in Cali

We just got back from a trip to California with Trav's parents, and his brother's family. Good times.

Our first stop: Disneyland!!!

We don't have many pictures while in Disneyland or California Adventure because we were so busy riding rides and watching parades. Take my word though. . . . It was fun! Brielle enjoyed playing with Grandma & Grandpa, going on rides, and even got to meet Buzz Lightyear.

Our next stop: Sea World! One of our favorite places to be!!!

I really liked all of the animals, but these guys were hilarious!

Bells (Brielle's nickname) was certainly intrigued by some of the animals, but I have to say she was MOST interested in watching the people.

We tried to feed the dolphins, but they wouldn't come anywhere near us.

We also enjoyed watching the eels. They're so creepy!

But Brielle seemed even more grossed out touching the star fish! I love the look on her face in this picture!

After sitting through all the shows and being enamored by so many animals, Breezy (Brielle's other nickname) was completely tuckered out.

Fortunately she woke up in time to see Shamu. Here she is waving at the giant fishy.

She was pretty tickled that she got to stay up late every night to play with mommy, daddy, and her cousin Jackson.

Stop #3: The Beach!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE OCEAN! I could live on the beach. Seriously. I really love it. I'm happy to say that Breezy seemed just as happy!

The water was pretty cold, but that didn't really faze Bree. She couldn't stop staring.

At the end of the day she was covered in sand from head to toe. We couldn't put her on a towel because she's just keep crawling to the sand to play in it.
What a fun day!

And now to make this long post even LONGER, how about an update on Brielle?

Brielle is such a happy girl! She's into EVERYTHING! She now has 8 teeth! I know. . . . she's sort of a tooth freak! She can pull herself up, sit, and crawl (well, actually it's sort of a half crawl, half scoot). She is always on the move though. She can get anywhere she wants, so she rarely holds still. She always wants to eat the food we are eating and she loves to drink water from a straw. She loves bath time, story time, and movie time!

She loves to play with her mommy and daddy, almost as much as we love to play with her!

She is constantly making faces, laughing, and blowing bubbles!

We love our little Breezy!

Let the Celebrations Begin!

On Friday we went to West Jordan for an early 4th of July celebration with my family. We enjoyed the festivities at the park, and I think Brielle was even mildly amused by the mini petting zoo!

She was a little shy at first, just letting the cow sniff her hand. It didn't take long for her to latch on to the cow's ear and refuse to let go.

What a patient cow. Brielle even got to go for a ride!

She had a staring contest with the baby goat.

She liked the lamb's wool. She had an excellent grip and it took some prodding to get her to let go.

After seeing all the animals, she wasn't too impressed with the slide.

We went to Brielle's first fireworks show that night. She loved being able to stay up late and play with everyone! She even liked the fireworks as long as she had her cracker in her hand.

4th of July!!!!!

Richfield festivities!

Here we are watching the parade.

She's not too sure about the snow cone her Grandma gave her!

A little slap happy?!

We sure did have fun!

HaPPy BirTHday BRanSoN!!

Dear Branson,

It's me. . . .Aunt Robyn. Happy Birthday Buddy! I've thought about you and your parents all day. All week really. I will never forget the day you valiantly returned to our Heavenly Father to continue your mission in Heaven. I was pregnant with your cousin Brielle. You'd only be 4 months apart you know. I bet you were good friends with her before this life. I wanted to tell you that you've really made an impact in my life. I never got to hold you or talk to you, and yet you've changed who I am in a small way. Thank you for that. Your parents have helped too. They're good people. They miss you a lot. We all do. I pray for them, and for you each night. In fact, sometimes I pray so hard that I can't seem to hold back the tears. I think that's a good thing. My prayers are more sincere now. The truth is, I think we're all trying to be better people now. . . better because of you. Thank you. Happy Birthday Little Buddy!

All my LOVE,

Aunt Robyn

PS: I'm excited to meet your little sister!

PPS: I hope you get to eat some delicious cake in Heaven!
