BRIELLE CHERIE KYHL!!!

Brielle was finally born on Wednesday night at 8:44 PM. It only took 3 days past my due date, 13 hours of labor, and a C-section to get her here. It was all worth it. I went in on Wednesday morning to be induced at 7:00 AM. It started off well and I progressed pretty quickly. After 8 or 9 hours the progression stopped. We kept thinking something would happen but her posterier position kept her from being able to move down. By 7:45PM the doc said it was time to do a C-Section. Surgery went relatively well, Travis got to be there with me (taking pictures of my uterus of course!) and she was born weighing 8lbs 8oz! We were able to bring her home on Saturday and we have been having so much fun with her!

Still Large With Child

Yep, Still pregnant. I've tried just about everything to go into labor. In fact yesterday I walked the entire golf course, curb walked my neighborhood, did jumping jacks, and everything else I could think of. I'm so swollen I can barely walk at all. Not a very pretty sight! It's still exciting though to think she could come any minute. So to keep my mind off of wondering when the action will take place, I will complete my "You've been tagged" duties.

3 Weeks To Go

First off, I can only appoligize so many times for Travis' actions. I am not going to "calve" nor are we going to post a picture of my back end with Brielle sticking half way out! He's an Idiot, and wont be taking ANY pictures during delivery. Anyway here is a picture of my big belly with Brielle's crib in the background. I know I look swollen and sick (probably because I am), but it's really the only pregnant picture I have so it will have to do. I sure hope she doesn't come out a boy. Can you imagine how crappy that would be? A little boy coming home in a pink outfit to a girly room. Poor kid! I'm getting excited and very nervous that we only have 3 weeks left. I can't beleive she could ultimately come at any time. I want to thank all of you who helped with those Awesome Baby Showers, and all of you who came and made them so fun. And Thanks A Ton for all the cute gifts!

READY TO CALVE?

I've been teasing Robyn for quite some time now that she's about to "Calve". Fearing that she didn't fully comprehend the term I decided to assist her with a visual aid. I feel this photo helps her understand what a beautiful miracle calving (or giving birth) really is. You can clearly see the joy on the calf's face as she slips through the window of opportunity and prepares to be with her eternal family here on Earth. We will post a similar photo of our little bundle of joy slipping into our lives when she arrives. For Robyn's sake I hope she doesn't have hooves. And for Brielle's sake I hope her tongue isn't sticking out.

Man Hands

So I don't know if you remember the "Man Hands" episode of Seinfeld or not (one of my all time favorites), but it's where Jerry is dating a girl with "man hands" and is so repulsed that he can't stand to be with her. It shows several close up images of her getting some food off of his face and whatnot (hence, the picture!). It's really hilarious. However, the hilarity of it all is now biting me in the butt. I'm pretty sure I now have "man hands" because they are so swollen from my pregnancy. It took me 20 min just to get my rings off. Six weeks seems like forever when I think of how many people are probably comparing my hands to that episode after one glimpse.

I'm finally getting with it.

Alright. . . I'm new to blogging obviously. Normally I'm not really into this type of thing, but I've recently realized how much I miss out on when it comes to what my family and friends are up to. Hopefully I will be able to keep better tabs on the people I care about (even if it is just stalking their blog. . . pretty pathetic I know!). So the basic update in my life certainly doesn't qualify for an interesting story by any means, but a blog is a blog so I'll give it a try. Today IS Sunday however, which means that in just six short weeks from today, we SHOULD have our little girl with us. My pulse is racing just thinking about it! Scary and exciting! I don't know that I'll ever be ready for an 8 lb bowling ball to come out of me. Or something like that. Yikes!
